Athlete of the Month: Jeremiah Hassemer
 This "Athlete of the Month" story only began only 2 years ago when Jeremiah Hasserman at the ripe old age of 21 years, decided to
enter his first Triathlon. He decided to join the Team in Training Organization in Los Angeles, Ca. Jeremiah's ambitions were grand
from the beginning; he had signed up for the Wildflower Triathlon - one of the toughest 1/2 Ironman races anywhere! After several
weeks of training, the TRIATHLETIX coaches quickly realized how committed Jeremiah was about his training. When asked about training,
he said: " I always participated in individual sports and spent a lot of my youth rock climbing and parting around with my buds..... I
got involved with Team in Training because I wanted to give something back to a great cause." Well no sooner did Jeremiah finish
his first Triathlon at Wildflower, he quickly signed up for his second long distance race: The New Zealand Ironman!
Its March 1st., 2003 and Jeremiah just crossed the finish line! He clocked in at: SWIM 1:25, Bike: 6:35, and Run: 4:27, for a total
time of 12:39. Jeremiah is a true example of how hard work and determination will lead you on a path toward
your goals. In just two years has become a true IRONMAN!
